Fullblood Beefalo: an animal that is, by
breeding, 37.5% (3/8) Bison and 62.5% (5/8) bovine. The bovine content may be
any breed of cattle or any combination of breeds.

Ancestry animals: animals that are used
as genetic pool from which new lines of Beefalo are derived. Ancestry animals
have any percentage Bison content that is either more than 37.5% or less than
17%

Purebred Beefalo animals: A purebred
Beefalo will have at least 34% Bison content (and becomes a fullblood Beefalo
at 37.5% Bison)

Percentage Beefalo animals: Animals that
are used for breeding with a Bison content of at least 17% and below 34 %

Beefalo Meat Animals: An animal that
is, by breeding, a 17% Bison through 37.5% bison may qualify as a Beefalo Meat
Animal. This meat may be labeled as "Beefalo
Beef"

Bison Hybrids: Animals with more than
37.5% Bison qualify as Bison Hybrids (so does their meat)
